You have indicated that you have not been able to use the Knowledge Base to search on a specific article in which you already have the Q number. If you would like to search our Knowledge Base for a specific Q article at http://support.microsoft.com/support/search/c.asp?FR=0 click on the "Specific article ID number" option in step 2. In step 3 enter the article number Q165539 and click go. This will produce links to any articles which include the number Q165539 as well as the actual article. If you have any difficulties, please let us know by replying to this e-mail. To my knowledge, searching for a knowledge base ID in the "Search Support" page has never worked. I've verified this in Netscape 3,4, IE 3 and 4 during the last nine months. It is really annoying to find yourself using the workaround of copying a URL of some other kb article and manually entering the KB ID wanted. Like getting: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q165/5/39.asp ^^^^^^^^ and manually entering the kb id you want here, which works. Why don't you either: * Fix it. You've had *a lot* of time to identify and correct this issue or * Remove the "search for KB ID" as a search option. I don't care what you do about it. You'll probably just ignore it, and several years from now, I'll still be copy-pasting url's :-) HTH /Claes
